My Christmas Concert

Had a Christmas Concert at the church tonight... it was exhilarating for a few reasons:

1. Brandon wore a gorgeous suit with a red vest and white tie. Jaw = dropped. I went in a short, but sophisticated Andrew Marc dress and my usual Kors wedge heels. We got to be that impeccably dressed couple. So fun :)
2. The octet we sang in with our coworkers sounded great! Gotta love all that gorgeous early music.
3. The reception was awkward, but possibly the most flattering experience I've ever had in my entire life.

Things are going well. I've with this guy for three whole months if you ignore the fact that we haven't gotten around to officializing anything (that's kind of a long time to be with someone in my book)... and he makes me feel gorgeous every single day :)

My career is beginning to ignite and people are beginning to take notice of this UCSD soprano with range, volume, and musicianship to spare. My professional network has been growing slowly, but surely. My concert life is only going to get busier, come next year.

Also, mulled wine. SO good. And seasonally relevant! J'adore cet saison. Ma vie est un peu difficile, mais je ne veux pas vivre dans une autre reve :)
